Gennaker and Code O furlers
Facnor Gennaker and Code Zero furlers are used by the most demanding ocean racing teams in the world and are becoming standard equipment on a wide variety of boats. The Facnor system is made of two major components, a furling drum and a halyard swivel.
Facnor standard drum Gennaker furlers are similar in style to headsail furlers but without the aluminum foils. They are equipped with either a shackle or marine eye at the bottom of the drum, and a shackle for securing the tack. Their high load capacity and load-guaranteed design make them a good choice for handling very large sails. |

Like the structural furler, the Code zero & Gennaker furler is an in/out system that does not allow reefing of the sail. The anti-twist rope is captive within the sail luff tape. The sail head and tack are seized to thimbles. These are fixed to the swivel and the drum with quick-release pins. The advantage is the quick installation. The furled sail can quickly be stored after use. |

Headsail furling & reefing systems |
Our furlers are well known for their reliability and their simplicity of installation by the well known boat builders (BENETEAU, DEL PARDO, DUFOUR, JEANNEAU ...) as well as by charters company. Each furler is composed of a drum, a series of sections which come around the forestay and a hoisting system : halyard swivel or sheave box.
The jib furler is designed to be installed without unstepping the mast nor cutting the wire.
